Looking for a loving puppy for your family? You came to the right place!
Purchasing Tips!
We want you to be informed about the possiblitity of fraud when
purchasing a puppy online. Here are a few tips that we feel that will
help protect you against online fraud. We get many calls & emails
each month from families that have sent money through Western
Union and other wire services and never receiving their puppy.
This is happening all too often so here are a few simple tips on how to
protect yourself from being such a victim
Tip # 1: Try to pay for your purchase with a credit card. This will
give you the best protection against not receiving your puppy. Credit card companies
have a fraud prevention policy to protect you against fraud or online scammers that try
to take your money and run.
Tip # 2: Talk to the seller on the telephone as well as email. Any seller not willing
to call you or give your their phone number is probably not a reputable seller.
Tip # 3: Ask the seller to take a picture of the puppy you are interested in with a
note card beside it with your name and date on it. This lets you know they do have the
puppy that they are advertising for sale.
Tip # 4: Always try to pickup the puppy if you are within driving distance especially
if the seller can not provide you with one of the other tips like paying with credit cards,
taking pictures, etc. (If you are going to pickup the puppy only leave a deposit if tips:
1, 2, or 3 have been provided, DO NOT SEND MONEY Via WESTERN UNION OR
MONEY GRAM....)
Tip # 5: Check to see if the seller has their own website with contact information
easy to find. Most people that are trying to scam will not have there own website but
this have been not the case in the last several months. We have seen A LOT of scam
websites popping up on Major search engines like Yahoo Sponsored Searches. We are
doing everything we can to inform Yahoo and other agencies about the massive
number of website that are hitting the web but the lure of Cheap Prices & Great Deals
seem to keep them in business. We have been working together with others to put
together a list of known Scam website. CLICK BELOW TO SEE THE LIST:
Tip # 6: If it sounds to good to be true, then it's more than likely NOT true. Use
your common sense and make sure you have a good feeling about the purchase.
Most people are honest but it is always a good idea to be safe.
Be smart, use these tips & don't get scammed or cheated out of your hard earned
money!
Please email us if you have been a victum a puppy scam.
